Free DVD on Bullying

Bullying is a HUGE issue in today's society...in schools, in neighborhoods...and it must be addressed and taken seriously. As an educator and mother of a kindergarten student, I see it firsthand. As adults - parents, educators, neighbors, friends, we MUST take a stand when we see children bullying. It is our responsibility to stop it before it starts through prevention, talking with our children, lessons and explanations about what bullying really is - not only actions, but words.

For a limited time, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources is offering a free DVD on Bullying. This is a GREAT freebie for schools, home-schoolers, libraries, after school programs, etc. I hope you'll take advantage of it for yourself or pass it along to someone who could use it.

If you're a teacher, homeschooler or work in a library or other state/public office, there's a great resource for some FREE MLK materials including stickers, bookmarks, displays, posters, DVDs, etc. It's too good to miss out on and a great educational resource!
